Practice Direction 2/2014 describes the workings of the new IP2SG electronic online patent filing system.
The entire period between 14 February 2014 to 23 February 2014 inclusive are excluded days for the purposes of the Singapore Patents Act and Rules.

IPOS published its revised and updated Examination Guidelines on 14 February 2014. The Examination Guidelines have been updated for the latest case law and this version deals with a much larger number of issues than previous set of guidelines, which were admittedly brief.
It’s well worth taking a look at this document if you want to have an idea of how the Examiners at IPOS are likely to deal with patentability issues arising during examination.

The new Electronic Online System (EOS) for filings made under the new Singapore patent law is known as IP2SG. It will replace the old ePatents system.
We describe the provisions for the changeover in detail in this blog post.

ePatents ceased operating at 2359 hours on 13 February 2014. The “Notice of ePatents Ceasing Operations” and “ePatents Maintenance Notice” are now no longer available.
